Age of Sigmar, The First Git Bash

The Goblins of Axe Bite Pass encounter Kharadron Dwarves (Duardin)

Warhammer Sigmar Grots Goblins
Seeking out new places to plunder, Tobnam, Fizza and Skaggs led their skraps onward. As they picked through a ruined landscape, the sky was filled by descending stunties, all shiny and rotund. The figures floated to the ground, birthed from a large ship that seemed to hang in the air.

“Its on yah Gits!” shouted Tobnam, leading his lads straight at the floating war machine while Skaggs immediately went after a small landing party of shiny stunties to the left of their column, deftly avoiding direct conflict with the odd floaty ship.

The wolf pack galloped straight up the middle, eager as ever to just get stuck in, what few arrer’ grots trotted up behind.

Through steam cannon, ether-carbine shot and a host of other items thrown at them; the trolls trudged forwards with their Ogre charge alongside, unflinchingly weathering this unnatural hailstone weather. Eventually one stumbled and fell but not before Tobnam and his lads, shields wearing the brunt of the fire, swarmed forward and started stabbing skyward into the hull above.

Even still, Tobnam charged onwards, urging his gits forwards – but only a few realised where he was going, more interested in hitting the big floaty thing first.

Despite mauling the landing party beneath the sky ship, Tobnam found himself surrounded by the remainder, who summarily pummelled him out of the fight. An event hardly noticed as the gathered Axe Bite goblin halberds, Orge and Troll clubs battered the sky ship hull. Ignoring more ether shots, steam cannon and harpoon shots whilst they did so.

Meanwhile the Wolf Pack slinked into the woods to avoid incoming fire having seen how much was being thrown at the Trolls and Tobnam’s lot. Their stikka companions keeping alongside to hopefully sneak around the woods and put a few pins into the stunties on the other side.

On the far left, Skaggs and his lads charged through a hail of pistol fire, losing a single git; who likely scarpered if anything. Once close enough, their final rush set all thirty odd of them upon the handful of unlucky stunts – overrunning them completely.

Seeking new foes, he was met by a fusillade of Thunderer fire which pelted Skagg’s lads, pitching several over and scaring off a few more. Skaggs signalled the charge with his torch waving and off they went covering the distance through another hail of fire.

With foes slinking through the woods, their flanks threatened, this Thunderers fanned out to meet any threat. The skyship battered to near scrap metal, the stunty boss stepped out. He dispatched one troll with a mighty pistol shot, then dashed over and confronted the wolves. He was followed by another landing party who also dashed across and lay into the wolf riders.

Thus began a very bloody turn for the Axe Bite skrap, the Thunderers fired in every direction. The remaining landing parties also fired at various targets and many gits fell, or frankly, left the fight till it was over.

With an almighty clang, the Ogre brought down the sky ship, sundering the prow. The Axe Bite gits poured over the shattered hulk and went straight after the admiral and his retinue.

It was about this time Skaggs and what was left of his lads poured onto the Thunderers, and finally, the sole Squig riding boss bounded in, becoming an orgy of fang and maw; chomping half of the Thunderers.

Aiming to claw back at least one objective, the Admiral left the wolves, who were putting up a poorly fight, to his able landing party. Launching himself into the nearby stickkas and handling them personally.

By the time he had dealt with them, he saw trolls clobbering his party, goblins everywhere and his sky ship a metal ruin on the ground. With little else to do, he lifted away and fired his beacon for rescue.

Far below the goblins looted and jeered. Although half their number remained, as usual, a good third suddenly reappeared from cover nearby.

Skaggs and the lads 1/0!
