Bloody Shield Tribe begins
|Finally, after months of snatched moments converting, I begin.
Little work was needed to complete the rather straight forward cut and glue converting required for the Bloody Shield Tribe warriors; their grim befurred visage quite easy to complete without any major greenstuff work.
The real trick was the ramshackle raider goblins.
Below is a series images of the various touches; from belts, collars and cuffs; to hoodies and cowls.
I’ll be base coating these like the above warriors with Vallejo Surface Primer. First time I have used it brush on and it works very well; I think I’ll be moving on from spray basecoats – at least until I buy an airbrush.
More soon as I begin painting the goblin horde 🙂
Thanks for reading,
Sebastian.

A great start, my friend! They look deliciously rag tag and scummy.
Always a moment that makes my day again when Sebastian puts out some more gems been really missing the warseer whq page sinds it went down that’s been a great inspiration scourge of amusement and good feeling sinds I started making my own custom set for whq and it also drove me to continue try make my own spin on this game world. Sad times now it has seemingly gone down permanent. But maybe more then anyone Shas has given it a original feel of a living breathing world. Every model is amazing thoughtfully planned and worked out there were a couple of guys on warseer that were stars in this department like daxxio daemonslave Andy T and some others pity that’s the only way I know them so I probably never get to see much more of their work. But this place is luckily still here giving me tingles to try being creative myself although in my own style and quality. Hope you never stop putting your work out for us to see and ty for the last 3 years I been following you.
Thank you Huib, I don’t know what to say – but thank you! I agree, the loss of Warseer means a lot of great project threads disappeared too. You’re right, we need to reconnect the Warseer Warhammer Quest community again. I think I have an idea. With more time available for a while, I’ll be working hard to complete this part of my campaign and play out the games!
Indeed, the combined loss of Beyond the Grey Mountains and Warseer has been a major blow to the Old World Adventuring community. I still check BtGM from time to time in the hopes it may re-emerge…
