Colony 87 Series 2 Arrives
|A recent Kickstarter I helped fund came to fruition.
In the words of the Colony 87 team started by Jon Boyce:
“Colony 87 had grown in power over the decades. It was now the most important centre for trade, industry, science and arts in the sector. Millions flocked to the Colony; the rich and the powerful, the ambitious and the desperate. There was a place for them all, no matter how high-born or lowly”
The aim of this project is to produce six new 28mm scale sci-fi civilian miniatures for the Colony 87 range for use in RPGs and tabletop wargames. The figures have been designed with a retro sci-fi aesthetic by fantasy illustrator Will Beck and sculpted by ace figure designer Michael Anderson.
I missed out on the first series, so imagine my delight at being able to purchase them AND support this latest series.
I am hideously selective about Kickstarter projects that I fund and the arrival of these has really topped off a great week of hobby projects.
I just got my box in the mail today too.
I am going to say that the Xenos is a Galg Merchant and heads the finances and contract side of a Tarellian Dog Soldiers Free Company. (who I need to make still)
Nice idea, and yeah – so many ideas, so little hobby desk space 🙂
the struggle is real.
