More Warhammer Goblin minions
|So I slipped up on painting and converted more.
These guys are currently seeking a name for their unit, not to sure if Tinheads suits but for now it will do.
They are a mix of 40K Grot heads, Beastman bow arms, Empire Militia bow hands and Huntsmen sleeves. Additionally Skaven acccessories, gnoblar heads, Bretonnian helms and Ork Helms (the signature skull caps). Also, I scored old Night Goblin plastics to give them unique torsos to the rest of the warband.
Without further delay, the Tin’eads before I seal gaps and add straps with greenstuff:

The top 3 look like a painting how they are standing or shot from some movie. All off them look great again but those top 3 are really great the way They look at the same point and how they fit together.
Chuckle – thanks Huib! NOw that you pointed it out – yeah; they really do haha. I was seriously underwhelmed by what Gobbos have as archers (Night Goblins are fun though). Its hard to find the helmeted Goblin head I use in the conversion though. 🙁
Classic quasi threatening gobbos. The “pot head” is really a classic, and adds the required touch of whimsy.
Cheers LP ! 😀
Love ’em! Straight outta “Labyrinth.”
Haha, pothead
Cheers Benjamin! Major major influence is Brian Froud (Labyrinth) 🙂
Huge fan of your work- and these goblins are blowing me away.
I think I read somewhere that you said you were trying a brush-on Vallejo primer with these guys. With winter approaching, I’m wondering if I should grab some of this so I can prime even when I’m stuck indoors.
How has it been working?
Thanks! I’m about to get stuck into painting the raider warband 😀
In relation to the primer, I use Vallejo Surface Primer, Black. You can Airbrush or Brush on and provides a good tooth for painting. Anything you’ve seen painted in the last month has been using this. I really like it, with a light amount you get good coverage and I’m yet to obscure detail. 🙂
