Tau Cadre of Sa’Cea from White Dwarf 313 & 316 (AU)
|The complete Cadre of Eastern Empire is back online.
The following images are a full review of the cadre taken in 2014 before I put them away for storage during my sailing adventures across several oceans. You can see various close ups on many of the signature models I’ve crafted over the years of Advanced Tau Tactica and Eastern Empire.
Thanks for your support and encouraging words over the years I assembled this force.
Cheers!
Sebastian.

Nice to see these return to the site.
Welcome home brave troops of Sa’Cea!
Indeed, it has been good to fill the site with original content again 🙂
They still look pretty cool
Cheers Commissar! 🙂
Found some things that might be useful for Tau conversions.

I know of Zealot, but wow.. their range has expanded! Crazy. Thanks Commissar 🙂
Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask, but I was wondering if you could share the steps you take to paint your tau miniatures. A guide used to be on the site but I can no longer find it.
All good. After the site was corrupted by a Denial of Service attack, I’ve been rebuilding many elements this year. I’ll put up a painting guide tonight as I have the files on hand. I’ll notify you shortly 🙂 Thanks for dropping by!
Thank you. I was hoping to paint some tau in your style, as they are the best looking tau I have seen.
Thanks Czuk, you can find the guide here. It’s based off older series paints and Vallejo; I’ll work on finding the new Citadel versions.
Any luck on finding the new citadel versions? I’m curious about what modern paints would be the best way to achieve the results displayed in your guide.
I am trying to get back into the hobby with a kill team set and want to try to paint the tau portion as your classic colour scheme. Please let me know if modern citadel colours or some other paints would be the best method to replicate your results.
Thank you!
