Warhammer 40k, Rogue Trader Blood Angels

Finished putting together my Rogue Trader 1.5 squad. Really iconic models in their simplicity. Enjoyed putting together stout, fuss free poses. Each providing that classic marine form. Boltguns and combat knives.

After all the modern trimmings we have today, these are refreshing game pieces to put together. Look forward to adding the scouts next.

Decided to go with the Late Rogue Trader then 2nd Edition poster boys, the Blood Angels. Really deliberated this because my Scythes and my nostalgia for the BA sergeant years ago. I’m going for a clean non-fussy finish a couple levels more than the original flat red Marines in White Dwarf. This does not mean an entire army like my Goblins.
