Warhammer 40k, Rogue Trader Imperial Guard Bikers
|I’ve been quietly getting back into the hobby after a near 2 year hiatus and one project bringing me back are Imperial Guard bikers.
These are among many projects I’ve put back on the boil; this one getting first feature due to their insane rarity.
The ten man biker assault squad, note the more traditional sergeant rider:
There will be some final filing of lines and green stuff work about sleeves and shoulders – with handle bar ends added last.
The second sergeant has a cybernetic arm, courtesy of a Jes Goodwin ‘Tech’ ganger leader figure, from Confrontation days.
I have opted for a mix of laspistols and chainswords in spare hands to indicate their Assault role. Riding bikes with twin-boltguns, I have some leeway in signalling their various ability as “Rough Riders”. Essentially they have the same rules, just on bikes, or if my opponent is game – actual twin linked armed bikes.
More to come for this Fast Assault platoon that is attached to my infantry mainline.
Love them. I’m working on a RT era marine army, which also includes bikes. Not quite as many though. 🙂
Cheers Nick! Trust you’re doing well besides 🙂
Shall be posting more up – been awhile away from the hobby. Slowly creeping back into old projects.
Hi. What size bases did you use please?
Hi! Thanks for dropping by – sent you an email with an attached image. Quick answer; standard round cavalry bases, with a portion cut out to shorten the length to suit the smaller bikes. 🙂
Awesome. Thanks
