Priest of Sigmar, or Sigmarite war priest, not sure what they’re called these days
😁
I’ve been sitting on these parts for awhile, to make a leader for my Helmgard company. However the Bretonnian legs as a base was a new idea during the kitbash.
Includes pets from late Empire wagon altar and newer Age of Sigmar shoulder armor that worked well as hip plates.
The Foilist, in contrast to the holy warrior before. I did a wip of this a couple years ago and took a photo before breaking him down. Some new parts have given him life in the slowly growing Helmgart veterans.
Kristoff Bergen, standard bearer of the Wolf Company. A well known veteran out of Helmgart garrison and one of the biggest men by half a head. The Wolf Co. are famed for chasing down bandits, goblins and orc raiders at a moments notice and their make up is quite flexible. Being a mixed company, heavily armed, well equipped and familiar with the mountains of Axe Bite Pass, not often does their quarry retreat without a bite from these winter wolves.
The Wolf Company musters. The beginnings of the rank and file, 8 veterans and five Youngblood’s (who might last their first winter patrols). The Youngblood’s also have two nods to the original kit. Simple stuff really, mostly creating the equipped vibe, Wolf sigil belt coins, ropes, extra weapons and so on. Some small GS work to fill gaps or add a strapping. They travel light as their porter detachment follows up behind (to be built).
Several more fighters added, including the Sargeant for the younger pikemen and a tunnel fighter veteran, the usual lead for heading down goblin tunnel hideouts. You’ll likely note the ropes, many of the company carry extra rope lengths to help with traversing the Axe Bite Mountains quickly.
Sell swords, the occasional warriors for hire the Company employs depending on any particular pursuit. (Final GS details to be added) Be it down cave tunnels, to which the Dwarf Sapper aids their efforts with explosives and underground knowledge. If chasing their quarry through the mountain trails, they might employ the services of a famed Hochland Captain, noted marksman and explorer to counter rearguard enemy archers.
Then lastly, a Bretonnian Knight, cast out of the Kings Realm, and surviving either pitched battles in the pass or wine gourds at the bar. In updated photos he sports a rose on the hip, plate gloves, kit and shoulder shield.
The scouts, lightly equipped archers whom range ahead. Led by the rather grizzly hunt master. Have quivers and bound arrows in the mail to complete these lads. Really wanted to have the Empire Archer boxed set, but y’know; that’s all gone now argh.
Joachim Fuchs (pictured alone), a grim faced siege specialist, skilled in close quarter crossbow work when the Wolves force a robber warren or goblin hole. Usually accompanies Stein, the breacher figure, showcased before. Space on his back is for slinging the the crossbow. Sometimes I kit up so much I forget that a warrior has to return his weapons somewhere.
