Warhammer Goblins and Cartoons
|Whilst digging up old notes I’ve found some gems.
The following are drawings I would regularly make for GW Winchester’s weekly promotion flyer for Mike, the manager there at the time. (He would later end up in Sydney, Australia for GW).
One of the most interesting aspects besides the prices, is the little goblin raider I drew.. uncanny resemblance to the very theme I follow in my grim goblins today.
Funny how an idea sticks. I’ll post up more classic finds over the next few weeks. Also, no surprises I ended up in desktop publishing and graphic design.

You should really consider making the young knight adventures into a franchise comics books and the epic board game you’ve got fans allteady
Thanks! I am actually considering the story telling format, for folks to feel connected to the characters like a TV series. Feel the weight of decisions my friends and I make as we traverse the old world (with an over arching plot, yet to be revealed, god I hope Jean doesnt die in the Lost Watchtower campaign! Haha).
Was just setting up the website sub-domain yesterday too. 🙂
Winchester in Hampshire? I used to live down in Southampton – we could have had a game! 😀
Really? I used to live in Southampton after Winchester, did part time work in the Southampton store with Bob, Jon and Joe whilst I was at Uni there in 1997-99 😀
That would have been fun man, had a full Guard force at the time and a small Marine force of Scythes.
Love those! I really miss the humorous little comics that White Dwarf used to include, and these are very reminiscent of those.
Cheers LP! I’ve actually got some of the GW margin filler drawings, I’ll post them up soon 🙂
