Warhammer Night Goblin Squig Hopper
Okay, REALLY trying not to get distracted.
Last night I was tinkering, as you do, and suddenly I thought – I was able to make the Wolf Riders work with current plastics.. surely it would follow the same could be done for Squig Hoppers?
Using classic Night Goblin plastic torso, and wolf rider legs; a kitbash later with other modern plastics (and some serious sawing work to remove the original metal rider)..
I had a Squig Hopper. (Coincidentally, my first ever)
Really trying hard not to start raiding eBay and more for bits! Haha. This could become a Leader character?

Wow! Now I have a sudden urge to make squiggly hoppers… That skeleton spear is a great choice, as it looks sufficiently beat up but still has the jaunty little flag…
I should have my night goblin wolf rider up today btw, but not nearly as good as this.
Thanks LP 😀 Thought a fellow Goblin Chief would be interested. I’ve been perculating how to make some Night Goblin ‘Cavalry’ since you did the NG Wardog. You’re bang on about the spear, though I cannot recall where the flag comes from, it’s been floating in my bits tray for ages haha.
Kind of 50/50 on giving him the NG slippers though :/

Very cool indeed youbare the king off kitbashing still maybe you should try making some squigs from scratch green stuff or something.
Cheers Huib, I’m tempted to make new Squigs; I really like these particular style of Squigs over the other designs. There seems to be three which are by the same sculptor; likeliest style I would try to match. 🙂
Adorable! Would be a neat character for whq, Goblin boss on squig. There were rules for squighoppers in the lotol expansion if I remember correctly.
