Warhammer Quest, Bretonnian Knight
|The story of my Bretonnian Knight begins with his Grandfather having saved a King and a Elvish Noble of Chrace. Knighted for his service, the family were bestowed a coat of arms with a Royal Lion, but white (of Chrace).
So why the background? Well after converting an Evocator I realised the knee pad had a lion motif and Lo and behold, I could do a stylised Lion shoulder guard – something I’ve wanted for years. (Also, wow are Sigmarites big, thats a knee cap..)
Have to say, I am ridiculously happy right now – it matches my vision just right. 👍🏼😊 Small victories 😉

Small, but worthy – I’ve always loved seeing progression in characters, and seeing updates your Bretonnian knight project pleases me immensely. Can we see more angles, please?
Thanks man – my goblins have taken over a fair bit – time to get these Bretonnians back on top. New angles next posting 🙂
Beautiful work as always! Always love seeing more of your Bretonnians. I’d like to try contacting you in the near future about possibly getting a miniature commissioned, if you’re up for that sort of thing.
Thank you! Indeed, they have been swarmed over by goblin hordes of late. I’d be open to a commission; I’ll send you an email so you can reply when youre ready with a brief.
Sounds wonderful sir! I truly will be awaiting the day when that happens. I know if there would ever be someone to do justice to a knight of Mousillon, it would be you.
Ah i do love your goblins but the knight and his Compagnons and their quests are definitly some of my favourite. He looks so awesome and im always wondering how many bretbitz you bought before they dissappeared. Have you ever checked out the Towns guard from Scibor miniatures? Really wondering about their scale. Your mix of Heroquest and Warhammer quest has been and still is so super inspirational to me. I have now fully thrown in with the newer versions (blasphemy) but im trying to implement the former 2 into SOH. I would (srry for whining) love your opinion on some off my blog and tips ir criteria 😉 your are the goblin king but also of the Brett’s and kitbashing in general. I read your blog on warseer whenever im on vacation or need to be inspired. Thanks again for your art and sharing it with us. And do drop by on rhe whq forum on warseer its just me and Richard now. Richards blog certainly deserves a view.
Hi man – I got a fair few, enough for a small army for the campaign; really pushing to get this done this year and get some dungeon runs in. Shall swing by Warseer this weekend 🙂
Havent picked up Scibors, but I am eyeing off the models from Fireforge or Westfalia though!
Very small but very powerful conversion mate
