Warhammer Quest, More unaligned Goblins
|Hi gang. Back with more unaligned goblins, looters of villagers and general mischief makers. To create a strong contrast with the uncharacteristically orgainse Bloody Shield tribe, I’ve lavished time on these guys and dug deep into the bits box. At this stage I’d say I am five more models away from a respectable regiment.
First up were two more sneaky gits, the opportunistic scouts that cause havoc in a village before the main raid. I chose the hand on one to project a ‘Gimme’ it vibe.
Two pikers again, you can see I’m even tapping into stripped plastics for parts..
And yet more pikers, with a scythe blade and farming fork – the latter’s shield is sourced from the Giants forearm kit..
And the entire warband so far, easily another rank to go yet..
Thanks for following the progress, glacial at times – but the end result of games should be an entertaining read 🙂

Another great set of goblins can’t imagine the people of GW not checking this as inspiration for their own work
Thanks Huib! I would hope GW does something similar; make my life easier when sourcing parts! 😀
More excellent goblins! I like how much they’re distinct from the Bloody Shield tribe, these are real brigands! You know models are good when the mere sight of them gets ideas for scenarios bubbling…
Thanks Modhail 😀 I try to keep up with your prodigious modelling! I’ve had similar thoughts for scenarios, not entirely involving our heroes either.
Great bunch of scrabbling little blighters. A shame you have to peice them together from bitz, this should be the out of the box look for standard gobbos…
Thanks LP 🙂 I would hope to see a set of ramshackle plunderers, but I have to admit, scrounging parts actually adds to the models and is a great brain teaser!
