Warhammer Squig Knight
|A little before the new Gloomspite kit releases, I saw they had gone Full Froud and made Goblin Knights – well, since I already have a lad like that – I got stuck in.
Quick parts scrounging I’ve developed what I’ll dub, the Spangled Git, First Poker of the Maw, Rider of the Great Gnarly Squig.
Made a few obvious part swaps (gnoblars) and carved new shoulder armor to roughly resemble the armoured Squig Knights sneakily shown by Games workshop.
I kept the spear – considering him a precursor to the notion taken up by other spangle armored gits, eventually becoming the unit we see on offer next year.

Just have to say your stuff is amazing, your creativity and use of kits is inspiring, you have combined so many kits and created such inspiring characters. What was the shoulder armour used on this by the way as it looks great, also I know you used some lord of the rings orcs in the past which ones did you use as I ain’t familiar with the range. Thansk in advance and amazing work
Thank you Roy! 🙂 The shoulder armor, unfortunately, I have no idea – it was a random bit in my “Armor scraps” bits tray; I’ve almost become a hoarding goblin when it comes to parts! Sorry.
Hmmm Mordor Orc plastics, particularly the figure(s) with the big belly plate armor (two models share the same body); usually weilding an overhead two-handed polearm/the other has a beak helm with halberd forward from hip level.
I’ve tried others, but these two have the best bulk for warhammer goblins. 🙂
