Warhammer 40k, Raehan Regulars

Tau or Marines were not my first collection. It was in fact the plastic Imperial Guard, box of 36; which I collected with officers, command squads and heavy weapons. Including two Leman Russ tanks, Chimeras and a Basilisk when I was 18 – 23.

(Small wonder I ended up in Graphic Design eventually.)

Below is a gallery of digital photos (A Casio Camera) taken in late 99′ and large images from around 2001-2. At the time these were state of the art digital photos and I was seriously happy to have the use of this camera given the trouble of posting images before.

I wrote an extensive history for this Regiment, the body of which can be read here [Link].

From 1995-2004 this was my main army to game with. Later I sold it onto a good friend in Canada when I needed some funds. He continues their traditions, adding them as a combined regiment to his own forces. Mike is one of the Founders of Astronomicon in Canada and my Raehanivs still see combat to this day alongside his 4th Danikans [Link]. (You can see two Raehaniv squads about the Sentinels on the title image).

There is a growing idea to recreate this Regiment again and have a modern remake of the Raehaniv Regulars. I still have many of the officer models and Sargeants, so it would be the trooper I would need to source again. Who knows? 🙂
